We worked with the Procurement and Logistics team to train 1600 staff to use a large web-based shopping portal.

Existing paper-based catalogues were replaced with a single web-based system to order the goods and services needed to do business.

Internet Procurement (IProc) gives Santos:

• Standard information for purchasing approval and delivery systems.
• Improved supply of goods and services to business units.
• A wider selection of suppliers.

We developed a series of lessons to demonstrate the features and benefits of the new system.

This included common workplace scenarios showing users how to:

• Search existing supplier arrangements.
• Generate a requisition order and submit it for approval.
• Generate a purchase order (including all the details a supplier needs to deliver to specifications.)
• Check progress of delivery for their items.
